Listen/my mental visions had me in my own prison/On the phone in the kitchen/I done grown/it's addition/Christmas-- I was Grinchin/Not condoned cuz it's mentioned/but a poem that's so rich in/truth/that it's an extension/of my fingertips that's pinchin/Myself to help it sink in/My life's a category of change unlike I was thinking/Wife, Children, Work/Even self-controlled drinking/means that I finally got an inkling/of adulthood and its meaning/Don't get it twisted/this is steam/and/water boils beneath the surface/Shadow-substance/the latter to come/the former- that's what Earth is. #messingaroundwiththepenagain
